Provatis will present its innovative solution for estimating residual salt in real time at the 17th World Congress on Road Winter Service, Resilience, and Road Decarbonisation in Chambéry.

This international event, which will take place from March 10 to 13 2026, brings together the sector's key players to discuss winter road maintenance and road safety issues.

A major innovation: less salt, better spreading

At the event, Provatis will unveil its new solution for real-time estimation of residual salt on the road surface. Based on a combination of meteorological data, traffic data, and field measurements, this technology makes it possible to accurately estimate the amount of salt still present on the road.

This enables managers to optimize salting operations, reduce salt consumption – and therefore operating costs – and limit environmental impact, while ensuring optimal safety for users.

One step closer to the winter maintenance of tomorrow

This innovation is part of our ongoing efforts to make winter management more efficient, sustainable, and predictive.

Our experts will be available at booth no. 77 throughout the conference to present this technology, talk with visitors, and share our feedback from pilot projects in France and Switzerland.
